The Journey of June - Part 4

We made it to Yosemite Pines campground near Groveland, CA around 9pm on the 24th, and were finally reunited with Nathan's family. We hadn't seen them since our road trip in April last year, so everyone was happy to be together again!
We all got up bright and early the next morning, had some breakfast and set out to explore Yosemite National Park around 10:00am. Being a weekend so close to the 4th of July, the park was pretty busy, but we still managed to have a fun time and see a lot of cool things along the way.

Yosemite Falls, it was so beautiful, and the cool mist felt amazing as it was quite hot that day.

Bridal Veil Falls, also very beautiful and there was a little rainbow in front of the small falls at the bottom too!

After leaving the waterfalls, we started to make our way up to Glacier Point, it was a somewhat long, very winding drive climbing up the mountains, but it was super cool at the same time ;)

Nevada Falls

It was so breathtaking being up so high and seeing so much of the park from up there. We stayed till the sun went down and it was probably one of the most gorgeous things I've ever experience seeing in real life. Very surreal...

It was extremely hard to get back in the car and leave that incredible view, I didn't want that moment to end! But alas, it had to sometime... So we all loaded back up and started to make our way back down the mountains and out of the park. We got back to the campground in time to make some supper and hang out a tad before hitting the hay. That day was definitely a total dream come true for me, and probably everyone else as well. I 100% recommend putting a visit to Yosemite on your bucket list! (Just maybe don't go on a busy summer weekend :p)
