Canada & Beyond - Day 4 - Part 2

As I mentioned at the end of my previous post, on the afternoon of Aug. 16th, we were driving through New Brunswick making our way towards PEI.

It wouldn't be much longer, and we would be crossing the 10 miles long Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick to the Island.

We pulled in to the Cape Jourimain parking lot, and hiked the little trail down to see the bridge!

That first glimpse of it was just awesome, such a massive structure stretching so long... It so impressive.

Cormorants resting on the rocks around the base of the bride.

Had to get some pictures in front of the bridge.... obviously ;)

Apparently we didn't get one of Hayley though, sorry pal!

After getting plenty of pictures we walked back to the car and got ready to cross this beauty!

Our fearless bridge driver haha

I did take a GoPro timelapse as we crossed, which I'll be sharing on Facebook and YouTube if you'd like to see it!

We stopped back at this light house on our way off the island, which will be in a future post so be on the look out for that.

It took us maybe 15 or so minutes to cross the 10 mile bridge, but it felt like it passed in no time! It was weird driving above the water for so long, but yet also super cool. The next post will have photos from driving across the Island and more, so stay tuned!
