As promised here are the rest of the photos from Day 3 (Aug. 15th). We were not on the road long before we crossed the boarder into Quebec.
Right away everything transitioned into being in French! It was fun trying to guess what on earth the signs all said ;p
Our original plan was to stop at multiple places in Montreal, but we spent a little too long in Ottawa for that. Which ended up being okay in the end, since we had such a nice time. And man, Montreal is a confusing city to navigate! But after a while we finally made it up to Mount Royal lookout and got to take in the view of the city.
This lookout rises 765 feet above the city. So I read before we came that on the western slope, on clear days you can see the Adirondack Mountains over in the US so we were on the look out.
We decided to take a little hike over to the other lookout on the other side of the summit.

We were wondering if those mountains there, were maybe the Adirondacks?
Stole these from other peoples snapchat's, but it's all good haha ;p
This building was a tad weird, sort of had a creepy vibe haha. But had some cool info about the location and history about the area.
Soo after our lengthy walk back to where we had started, we were over run by raccoons ;p They just came from everywhere, crawling out of the trees and all over the trashcans, and begging people for food. It was quit an experience.
By this time it was dark so we got to see some of the pretty city lights as we were heading out. The downside to that, is obviously it's much harder to take pictures ;p
Got to drive across this super cool bridge!
So I was curious as to what this purple bubble was haha, so looked it up and found this cool little tidbit.
"A place perfect for the whole family, Parc Jean-Drapeau is a massive park and activity center comprised of two islands: Île Sainte-Hélène, and the artificial Notre-Dame island. In 1967, the world fair was held here, leaving behind the impressive Biosphere, a large ‘bubble’ clearly visible on the island.
The Biosphere is now a museum for ecological issues, and is the largest structure of its kind in the world. Visitors can also enjoy La Ronde Amusement Park, the race course Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the Bassin Olympique, and the Stewart Museum."
It was too bad we missed out on going there. With so much to see in such a short time we had to just resolve ourselves to the fact that we were going to miss out on a lot, but whatever we had time to see would be worth it ;)
