The Journey of June - Part 3

Hey everyone... I know it's been over a week since I've been able to post anything. We made it to Kings Canyon last Friday the 24th, and didn't have any cell reception or wifi access our entire week in that area. Now we are in Carson City, NV at a hotel, and I shall pick up from where I left off with the last post.... About to drive up to the Golden Gate Bridge, in San Francisco.

It was a super exciting experience driving across the bridge, after dreaming of it for years and years!
Riding around San Francisco was very cool as well, it was such a neat city, and so different from anywhere I've ever been before.

We went down to the beach over by the windmills and played in the sand for a little while, till we got too cold ;p

A little ways down the road we made it to Lands End, where we saw the Sutro Bath ruins and some different views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

We just sat on the rock wall for a while enjoying the gorgeous view and feeling the salty wind on our faces, it was one of my favorite moments probably ever. I didn't want to leave!

After a while though we finally got up and started walking down to Mile Rock where we could see a better view of the bridge.

We took off from there and drove around for a while, then headed downtown to find some supper. But on the way there we passed by some more cool views, so parked and went to see this cool stuff!

We found an awesome pizza place to eat supper at, then started making our way out of town.

Fancy car huh!

We drove across the Bay Bridge heading towards Yosemite National Park to meet up with Nathan's family.

We drove through some windy roads and up in to the mountains as it began to get dark, and reached the campground a little while later. I think this post has enough photos, so will save the Yosemite content for the next post ;) See ya then!

  1. They are all so wonderful but the pictures of the bridge are epic.
What are the old buildings and round cement structures?
