Here I am finally making a follow up post about our day at Niagara Falls! But hey, better late than never right? ;p
The walk down to the park and falls area was beautiful and speckled with gorgeous landscaping.
Our first glimpse of the falls was a breathtaking view of the whole river and the bridge connecting Ontario to New York. We were so glad the rain had let up, just in time for us to walk around and take it all in!
The Hornblower Cruise operates on the Canadian side, and Maid of the Mist on the US side.
If you visit the falls on the US side you can walk down by the waterfalls. It looked so pretty even from across the river!
There are shops, restaurants, and small landmarks lining the street along the falls walkway.

This little fella flew right up next to me and stayed there for quite a while just letting me take its picture, I didn't mind one bit ;)
Right as we reached the end of the walkway, the sun came out and large rainbows spread across the falls. It was so beautiful!
We went inside to check out the shops and get some souvenirs.
When we got back outside there was still a strong rainbow stretching across the river. It was simply breathtaking!
We decided to take the cruise tour down to the falls, so started walking back towards where the boats launch.
I took the GoPro out on the water with us, so have lots of fun photos and videos to share with you all from our ride. I'll be posting them real soon :)
